Make yourself at home here at Dover First SDA Church!
We are a community of faith that loves God, cares for one another, and seeks to bring light to the world. As disciples of Christ, we are committed to loving God fully, loving others as ourselves, and sharing His message with our community.

What to Expect
Visiting on a Saturday Morning
Walking into a new church for the first time can feel intimidating, but we’re so glad you’re here! Our goal is to help you feel comfortable right away. You’ll find a variety of styles here. Some people dress up for worship as a way to honor God, while others dress more casually.
There’s no pressure either way, so come dressed in what feels best for you. When you arrive, our greeting team will welcome you, answer questions, and share our weekly worship service bulletin. You may hear “Happy Sabbath!”, which is our way of recognizing that today is a special day, and we’re grateful to share it with you.
9:45 AM
Sabbath School
Sabbath School begins at 9:45 AM. The adult class meets in the main sanctuary, and all are welcome. We also offer five age-specific classes for children, from cradle roll through high school, located in classrooms along the back hallway. One of our front door greeters would be happy to help guide you to the right class!
11:00 AM
Worship Service
At 11:00 AM, we move to the sanctuary for our worship service, which lasts about 90 minutes. Our song service features contemporary songs, followed by a message from our pastor. After the service, we enjoy spending time connecting and getting to know our guests. If you’re new, we’d love for you to introduce yourself so we can get to know you better.
